Musical Theatre opens many doors

Many of our former students (and teachers) have had incredibly successful stage careers - Mark Hindle, one of our principal Ballet Teachers, performed on the West End production of the Lion King over 500 times! Other students who had a real love of musical theatre have since gone on to study acting and performance at various colleges and universities around the UK.

At Studio59, we offer intermediate and advanced level musical theatre classes.

Musical Theatre - Intermediate

Ideal for students who are new to Musical Theatre, the intermediate class gives students a great introduction to acting, singing and developing more general performing skills. It's a great chance to learn some popular scenes and numbers that we perform throughout the year, especially at our annual show in Halifax.

Musical Theatre - Advanced

The advanced Musical Theatre class is for the older students who are perhaps looking to push themselves towards a career in stage, wanting to home their confidence of speaking and performing in public, or just love the thrill of performing in front of a live audience.

All of our musical theatre classes put the emphasis on fun, development of skills and bringing out the inner performer.
